Information Technology offers training courses in various computer applications, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe and PeopleSoft. Hands-on sessions and documentation are provided for most TCU supported software. By making this service free of charge to departments, Information Technology hopes to encourage the continued education of new software and its function in our university. Online training is available for faculty, staff and students who want to pursue technical education on their own. We provide this service through a tool called IT Academy which gives the end user the opportunity to utilize self-paced online content. Visit our online training site to learn more.
One-on-one training sessions and custom-designed classes are offered as needed. These type of requests often give us an idea of what the campus is looking for and can turn into full blown events if one-on-one sessions can’t accomplish what is needed. Please submit a request here.
