IT Audio Visual supports the TCU community by being the central A/V solution team, from install to training and support.

If you are having technology trouble during class or an event, and are ok with being interrupted by a technician to assist, please call us at 817-257-7121.

We typically have a technician available during instructional hours when classes are in session.

Monday–Thursday: 7:30 am–10:00 pm | Friday: 7:30 am–5:00 pm

Before or After Class or an event

Please report the issue through the IT ticketing system or call us at 817-257-7121.

When reporting an issue, please provide details about your experience.

A technician may contact you for more information.

Issues are usually resolved within 24 hours based on the room schedule.

*Important Note: The Registrar's Office controls the scheduling and moving of classroom assignments. Visit their Instructor Resource page to learn more in the Reserve Classrooms section.

Would you like a one-to-one orientation of your specific classroom with one of our technicians?

Submit a ticket or call 817-257-7121 to provide your classroom location and upcoming availability. We will need to confirm classroom availability before scheduling the appointment.

Are you wanting AV for your office, lab, or instructional space?

Call us at 817-257-7121 or submit a ticket to start the conversation.

Do you need a portable PA system with microphones and/or a podium for an upcoming event? We offer this equipment, at no charge, to faculty and staff for official on-campus, University-related activities.

Call us at 817-257-7121 or submit a ticket with event details. We will need to confirm equipment availability before confirming your request.

*Important Note: Students can only request equipment through their group sponsor or faculty member.

This equipment is not intended for off-campus events, even if the event is University-related.

We want your special event to be a success. You can request a technician to meet with your presenter, speaker, or group up to 30 minutes before the start of your event.

We will familiarize them with the technology in the space and ensure your event starts smoothly.

*Important Notes: 

  • Requests require a minimum of two business days’ advance notice and are subject to the availability of our staff.
  • Technicians are available Monday–Thursday: 7:30 am–10:00 pm | Friday: 7:30 am–5:00 pm. Due to limited staffing, technicians can only stay for fifteen minutes after the event has started.
  • Support for after-hours and weekend events may be available depending on availability.
    • Departments or individuals must provide (how to set up a stipend for someone?).
    • Stipends are $100 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
    • Technicians are expected to stay for the entire event.
