The TCU Information Technology (IT) department develops, reviews, and consults on policies related technology at the University in relation to federal, state, and local laws, as well as industry standards in security.

Policies are written or reviewed by respective IT sub-department leaders for their area and then reviewed by an internal IT cross-departmental sub-committee before being sent for official Cabinet approval for the University.
